Caribbean Export joins the DIRECCT Project and supports digitalization of MSMEs in 15 Caribbean states

Within the framework of the DIRECCT project, Expertise France has signed a partnership agreement with Caribbean Export, a Caribbean trade and investment promotion agency. Caribbean Export actively supports the private sector in working to increase the resilience of the Caribbean and to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. This partnership aims to build the capacity of 210 SMEs and 40 business support organizations to address COVID through digital tools.

It will build the practical capacity of Caribbean businesses in e-commerce and support the development and execution of e-commerce strategies. The creation of e-commerce sites, the integration of order processing and digital payment solutions, and the training of MSMEs in digital marketing will enable them to improve their productivity and expand their network.

This project involves fifteen states of the Caribbean community: Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago.
