As part of the implementation of the DIRECCT project – (Digital Response Connecting CiTizens) in Senegal, Enabel, in collaboration with the audit and consulting firm Delotte Senegal, initiated a mission to assess the infrastructure, solutions, processes, level of digital maturity of staff and resources available in 15 health facilities in the Saloum regions.
Accompanied by the Ministry of Health and Social Action and Sénégal Numérique S.A., this mission, which took place from April 5 to 22, 2022, allowed for an exhaustive situational analysis of the IT and energy infrastructures, network and Internet connectivity, as well as an assessment of the processes and organization of the health structures (medical regions, regional hospital and health centers) in the regions of Kaolack, Fatick and Kaffrine, with a view to strengthening and modernizing them.
